  • ✨Book Review: The Compound Effect BY Darren Hardy✨

    November 19th, 2025

I’m re-reading this book — it’s a quick pick-me-up when you feel purposeless or bleak about where you are in life. It helped me understand that life is often a boring ordeal, and what truly matters is the repetition of those same boring tasks or routines that eventually lead you to what you want. There’s no escaping the boredom; instead, the book makes you accept it and think more intentionally about how those small routines should look so they can compound into something greater later. It’s better to choose tiny, impactful habits than destructive, draining ones. Overall, it’s a good gift for any young reader who is just beginning their reading habit.

  • ✨Book Review – Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents BY Isabel Wilkerson✨

    November 7th, 2025

How can a few hundred pages carry so much weight?

That question lingered as I finished the book

Books like Caste don’t just inform — they disturb, provoke, and stir something deep, especially when they resonate with lived realities.

And yet, even with all its clarity, it left something unresolved within me.
Who am I — with or without the weight of caste?
Am I an individual who has grown beyond its grasp?
Or am I still a woman unknowingly shaped, even exhausted, by a structure I never chose but was born into?

This book doesn’t just teach you — it confronts you. It holds up a mirror. And in doing so, it changed something in me.

Just finished The Psychology of Money by Morgan Housel — a short read, but packed with timeless wisdom.

It reminded me that financial success isn’t about IQ, it’s about behavior. Patience, consistency, and understanding your own mindset matter more than market timing.

As the days turn into years, our dreams and aspirations for life continue to evolve. In my youth, I welcomed the thrill of being the first to love, but as time has passed and wisdom has grown, I now yearn for the serenity of being chosen first. The journey of always giving more has left me weary.

In the quiet reflection of recent failures, I’ve chosen to step back, trusting in patience and seeking solace in the universe’s guidance. Despite past heartaches, my desire for a meaningful, lasting relationship remains unwavering. It is not selfish to crave such companionship; it is a testament to my hope and resilience.

Now, I surrender to the universe and my own tenacious heart, eagerly awaiting the person who will bring joy and fulfillment into my life. Whether this encounter becomes a love story for the ages or remains an unfulfilled wish, I embrace the journey ahead with both anticipation and gratitude.

  • Eternal sleep

    July 4th, 2024

Do we ever lose the ability or will to continue doing something we’ve enjoyed for a long time? Has this happened to you? Over the past few months, I’ve completely lost interest in writing, a passion that has been my solace since childhood. It’s bewildering how swiftly one can lose a skill. Perhaps it was the night I decided to burn all my journals—those companions of over 12 years—erasing every memory of a past that felt like a draining leech.

Sometimes, despite believing I’ve matured and grown wiser—though I still feel so young, haha—life unexpectedly thrusts something so profoundly altering upon us that all our prior lessons seem futile. The deep anguish and weight of such an event can pierce the soul, leaving you feeling as though the world is collapsing around you, suffocating every moment, yearning to escape the unbearable ache in your chest, praying for the peace of eternal sleep.

Have you ever endured something similar?

  • Liberation

    September 17th, 2023

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

The people, many of whom I’ve held onto steadfastly, I would actually prefer letting them go if that’s what they truly desire.

The notion of clinging on and never giving up is often romanticized, but sometimes, for the sake of peace and harmony, one must release their grasp. Letting go of the chains, the invasive thoughts, and the toxic remnants of the past—though never the lessons learned—is essential. And sometimes, it means letting go of people too, especially if they no longer wish to share our lives and their presence feels burdensome.

Letting go is far from simple. It requires strength beyond measure, a continuous process of striking at walls until they crumble to rubble, liberating the mind, body, and soul from the confines that bind us.

I wish I find my cue for liberation, and that you find yours too!

  • How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?

    June 3rd, 2023

Most of us rely on gadgets that need recharging from time to time. But have you ever considered that you can’t keep charging them beyond 100%? It’s a limit they reach, a signal that it’s time to unplug. This analogy holds true for life events too.

When we reach our own limits, where continuing would only lead to things breaking down irreparably, that’s when we must find the courage to pull the plug and let go.

Whether it’s a device or a relationship, endings are inevitable, no matter how much it pains us emotionally, no matter how deeply we cherish the connection or yearn for it to continue. Sometimes, stepping away is the only way to prevent further harm, even though it feels like tearing out a piece of our heart.

Navigating these decisions is never easy—whether in life, in love, or in pursuing our passions—but recognizing when it’s time to unplug can be the bravest and most compassionate choice we make for ourselves and others involved.

  • Endlessly

    April 19th, 2023
    the path with no end

Endlessly, that’s what the last word in his message said, “endlessly.”

I wanted to ask him back, “Does endlessly mean forever?” Even though deep down I knew the answer, my heart couldn’t help but hope.

Isn’t my heart a foolish thing, a relentless dreamer, chasing after what may never be reciprocated?

It seems to have a knack for leading me towards the least favorable outcomes.
